Availability specified for cycling VS running
Hi! It would be great if I could specify in my availability whether I want to bike or run that day. So when I say I want to run once a week I would like to use a lunch break at work for that and pick the day specifically or use a rainy day, day I can’t bring my bike etc. Thanks for taking it into consideration:)

Ik wil graag de referentiewaarden voor watt x kg lichaamsgewicht naast de bijbehorende vermogenszones plaatsen. Dit is handig als je een vriend dezelfde training wilt laten doen en hem de juiste referentiewaarden wilt geven. Maar het zorgt ook voor maximale duidelijkheid in de zones.

Setting target power >3s for longer intervals
Right now Join uses 3 second power targets for all intervals on the bike. For short (VO2max or tempo) intervals this is ideal. But for longer steady-state blocks like the 3-second window generates a lot of out-of-range alerts from even small fluctuations; a corner, a brief rise in the road, or breaking for traffic. Using different values for target_type / wkt_step_target, the fit file specifications allow for different workout targets, see https://github.com/garmin/fit-sdk-tools/blob/main/Profile.xlsx Currently all power targets are 7: power_3s But for longer intervals, e.g. longer than 4 minutes or longer than 30 minutes, it may be nice to set these as 8: power_10s, or even 9:power_30s. I have tried this myself, using a custom adjusted version of a Join workout, and it makes for a far more relaxing ride, with a lot less alerts, when doing long Z2 intervals. I do not know if these different workout targets are supported across all export options, but if so I would greatly appreciate (an option to turn on) these different workout targets. Ability to move a scheduled workout and auto pause
We really need to be able to move a scheduled workout. For example, I can't ride Monday but can Tuesday. I’d want to be able to move Mondays ride to Tuesday. Auto pause on Garmin. A feature to auto pause the training app when Garmin auto pauses would be great

Mute Notifications: Suppress "Why did you miss your workout?" prompts and "Update Availability" reminders during these dates. Plan Protection: Treat the period as "Planned Rest" so the JOIN level/stamina logic doesn't penalize the user for inactivity. Reasoning: Reduces manual daily updates and eliminates the friction of being asked for feedback while the user is intentionally off-bike.

GPX upload for free rides to automatically estimate training load
Currently, when logging a free ride, only duration and perceived fatigue can be entered. It would be much more accurate if users could upload a GPX file for planned or completed free rides. JOIN could then automatically calculate the training load based on elevation gain and estimated average speed (derived from past rides), making the load estimation far more precise than the current manual input. This would bring free rides closer to the accuracy of structured workouts in terms of how they influence the training plan

Kunnen jullie naast het fietsen ook het registreren van zwemtrainingen invoegen? Nu kan ik alleen ritten of workouts inplannen maar m’n zwemtrainingen kan ik alleen als rit inplannen om er vervolgens in de feedback weer iets anders van te moeten maken

Commute registration
I’d like to suggest an improvement to the commute planning feature. At the moment, the app only allows me to enter one total commute duration per day. I currently log 2 hours, but in reality this consists of two separate 1‑hour rides. Because the app can’t register these as two distinct commutes, my training suggestions and load calculations end up being inaccurate. Being able to enter multiple commute segments per day would make the planning much more precise.

Add more than one goal to training plan
It would be nice to be able to add all my racing I'm doing for the year into a goal so I can get training for them all in one plan instead of choosing the closest race then making a new goal when I finish it

Auto-pause setting
I would like to request a functionality to be able to modify the auto-pause behaviour in the app. In a structured training I would like to be able to coast some seconds after an effort. Coasting will enable the trainer auto-calibration (wahoo). Now the app goes into auto-pause way to quick so I frequently neef to manually resume the workaout. I suggest to add an option to disable auto-pause completely or to set a customizable time before the app auto-pause.

Add other races to join
I also use join to train for other sports like running ets… Now there is only the option to add a cycling race, it would be good to also be able to just add another race thats not only cycling.
