It would be wonderful to support lactate-set zone 2 power for folks who are nerdy enough to have lactate meters at home.
I would love for Join to support an optional Zone 2 power by lactate if you happen to have a lactate meter and use that alongside FTP to calibrate zones differently for people who are comparatively less healthy metabolically than the standard model.
Explanation:
In my personal situation my zone 2 is below where Join predicts it to be and if I rode at the higher end of its suggested zone 2 power I would be metabolically in tempo. I don’t have a problem completing the workouts it suggests in the higher power areas, but the base-building I need to intentionally under-power compared to the app’s recommendations.
