Planning Weight Training in the future
Add the possibility to plan a weight training workout. A JOIN strength cycling workout could possibly be replaced by a gym session. The rest of the week would be adapted to focus on different type of training.

PinnedThank you for the request!
We will not implement this in JOIN. Our expertise is focused on cycling and soon also running. Planning weight training is currently not in our scope. You are able to upload your weight training activities to JOIN and the training plan will adjust accordingly.
Also, we have some yoga videos on our YouTube channel that you can use as inspiration.
To add to that, the future Readiness update will let you take into account your recovery and soreness to get an even more personalised plan.

Would it then make sense to not add strength sessions via strava as those effect my training plan. As those are effecting the training plan and the session what would make such a different to just add this manually in advance like:
Strength and other
1:30h
RPE 5
Isn´t it the same adding this in advance as doing it on the day and it gets importet via Strava with the exact same data?

I second this!
Also please account for the initial strain / soreness that a new weight training routine will result in for the first 2-3 weeks.

Lack of awareness of strength workouts was what caused me to cancel (at least for now) my membership. I'm transitioning to relatively heavier focus on off season strength training, and the prevalence of "strength" cycling workouts and need to manually change them got old.

Also, don't call cycling workouts strength workouts. They're not comparable to working out with weights off the bike.

In the same spirit: if you complete an off-bike strength workout and add it to Join, the training plan should adapt as if you did an on-bike strenght workout. Or at least to some extent, so you don't overdo the amount of strength training in a given time.
Muscles need some time to recover as well :-)
