Streamline Export

Right now when you export a workout you have to do the following:

  1. Choose "Export Workout".

  2. Choose option for exporting.

  3. Choose "Power" or "Heart Rate".

  4. Review your data.

  5. Choose "Confirm".

This is a lot of steps particularly when in most cases a user has a flow that they almost always use.

It would be nice to have this streamlined to reduce the amount of work a user has to do to export a workout. Some suggestions on how to do so:

  1. In the "Athletic Profile" allow a default to be set for how to export a workout (Power or Heart Rate).

  2. On a workout have a button that defaults to either "Power" or "Heart Rate" but upon tapping allows it to be toggled - this controls what it is exported as.

The export flow can then be reduced to:

  1. Choose "Export Workout"

  2. Choose option for exporting.

Can anyone explain why making the app easier to use is being downvoted? Serious question.

I too was wondering the same. It'd be nice to know why people dislike this, or can suggest a better flow for exporting.

I’ve been meaning to do the same thing. It’s slightly dependent on which platform you use. I mainly use Garmin connect and the amount of steps could be reduced to 0 there. I think join should just export the training of the day automatically. I as a user am not adding anything meaningful with the 4 taps I have to do.
