So when I do a training session outdoor I don’t start the workout until after my warmup (and when I’m out of the city :D). But when riding indoor the session starts straight away, and often right in Z2. Also there’s no cooldown. It would be really nice to be able to include a short 5 min ramp up and ramp down. This could be like a tickbox when loading the workout in the Workout Player, or when exporting to use it in Zwift/Rouvy etc.

Thank you for the feature request! We will not implement this, so I've set the status to "Rejected". We recommend you to choose another workout (endurance) if you want to continue riding some more.

Couldn't agree more. I feel this is especially necessary when training indoors. Ramping up the intensity slowly (starting at a really low power) before starting the actual training would be very nice. I actually do this manually most of the time, by just free riding 5 minutes in Zwift (or outdoors) before starting the planned workout.

Just as a side note: If you export the workout in .zwo format, the workout will have a short ramp up built in.

Hi Remy, thanks for your reply!
It's true that there is a short ramp at the beginning, but it starts at around 50% of FTP if I'm not mistaken. For me personally, I often find that that still feels quite hard after sitting at a desk all day. I prefer starting at around 35% for a few minutes, just to get the blood flowing.
But again, this might be something very personal that only applies to me.
Just sharing my opinion, it's up to you guys to see what works best for the general audience :-)

It would be a nice feature to add to have similar ramp up when exporting to TrainingPeaks. Also, adding a short ramp-down at the end would be great. Perhaps having an option on the export screen to add these to the workouts?

Thx Remy. To clarify what I meant was it would be helpful to have the option to add extra time to extend the first and last interval by 1 or 5 minute increments if you wanted to make your warm up or cool down a little longer than what is built into the workout. Thx for reviewing!

or just having 10min available before for the setup and 10 min after to cool down/shower. basically if i'm available for 2 hours it is actually 1 and a half hour for cycling and 30 to deal with the before and after. Of course i could consider this with setting my availabilty
